Our Camps

Our camps - Pembroke, Tel Noar and Tevya - have developed a reputation as safe and happy places where children are encouraged to be themselves while building life-long friendships. Each day is special, ripe with challenge, discovery, friends, and fun. In addition to a wholesome, well-rounded camping program that includes land sports, water sports, and fine and performing arts programs each camp community is connected by a common Jewish heritage - a feeling that is enriched by the comfortable opportunities for sharing backgrounds and experiences however varied they may be. The inspiring and creative Sabbath services, Havdalah, blessings before and after meals, stimulating discussion sessions, and Israeli songs and dances succeed in giving our campers a meaningful and beautiful Jewish living experience that is unique to camp.

All of this helps fulfill the Cohen Camps' goal to provide campers with a happy, healthy and rewarding camp experience where learning is combined with fun. Living in a Jewish environment teaches children skills and values that they will bring into their community and the world. Each year the Cohen Camps work together to improve facilities, develop new and unique programming, and recruit professional and passionate staff.

While our camps are managed year-round as a unit, we cherish and encourage the distinct personalities these three summer homes have developed. We also are proud that each camp is accredited by the American Camp Association.
