Camp Tel Noar

Camp Tel Noar, located on Sunset Lake in Hampstead, NH, is a co-ed camp characterized by its contained size and communal living arrangements. At Tel Noar, children acclimate into the spirited world of summer camp and connect with their Jewish heritage by making Judaism a relevant part of their every day life through song, dance, and the comfort of a shared background with the entire Tel Noar family. Camp Tel Noar its entering its 64th summer of successful Jewish camping in 2008. Members of the Tel Noar family, current campers and alumni, are passionate about their summer home - a community driven by life-long friendships, learning and a daily connection to their Jewish heritage - a community that will always be a cherished part of their lives.

Tel Noar is the summer home for 250 campers each session (350 campers total). It is truly a community living experience with many of the cabins built in clusters with central living areas encouraging interaction between the age groups. This closeness results in a culture and an atmosphere where everyone knows your name. Camp Tel Noar packs a seemingly never-ending list of activities into a very manageable space - in addition to the typical land sports, water sports, and arts programs, Tel Noar has an exceptional photography studio and darkroom, and a drama program of which we are most proud.
