News from Week 3
Hello from Lake Potanipo!
Camp is in full swing, and what a joy it is to be here. The energy around camp is contagious as our campers settle into their routines, strengthen friendships, try new things, and make each day their own. Everywhere you look, you can feel the excitement from the cheers at activities, to the songs in the dining hall, and the smiles that remind us why summers at Tevya are so special. There is something truly magical about this place when it is filled with our campers, and we’re so grateful to share another wonderful week together.

Why do you love being a counselor?

"This summer I am interning with the Health Center. It is really cool opportunity because I am hoping to go into medicine in the future. I've been able to get to know campers in a different way and improve my patient care."

Around Camp
- Celebrated 4th of July with an amazing display of fireworks and a parade with handmade floats through camp.
- Game days and tournaments have started! On Sunday, Tsofs and Bogs participated in YJ Doubles Tournament (2nd Place Overall). Today we had: Oles Newcomb, Bogrim Softball, Tsofot Volleyball, and Bogrot Volleyball.
- We had our first rainy day of the summer, where we switched some activities with indoor programming. A little rain won’t stop us from having fun!

Trip Days + Overnight Trips!
Trips out of camp are something that our campers all look forward to! These trips are opportunities for bonding, making memories, and typically some yummy out-of-camp treats.
- BTC – 10th graders took a trip to West Forks, Maine! Complete with tubing down the river and then white rafting on class 3 and 4 rapids.
- KTY – 9th graders hiked in the White Mountains, had a luxurious stay in a hotel, and then enjoyed mountain coasters at Cranmore Mountain.
- Tsofs + Oles – 3rd-8th graders had special programming while the Bogs were out of camp with water games, an inflatable waterslide, boat rides, and lots of fun. The next day, Oles + Tsofs enjoyed a fun Trip Day to Canobie Lake Park!
