Activities + Electives
Lots to love, and lots of choice
What makes a summer at Camp Tel Noar so exciting? Fun and adventures every day!
Swim in the pool, paddle the lake, play sports like tennis and volleyball, get creative in arts, dance, and drama. Build your skills and gain new ones; enjoy activities and electives you already love and try something new.
A balanced program
Every camper’s daily schedule includes swimming lessons, boating, outdoor learning, athletics, and arts + crafts, plus shira (singing) and rikud (Israeli dancing). Campers may also try out for inter-camp sports teams. Evening activities and special events round out every week. Campers do most of these activities with their cabin or age group, and some as a whole camp community.
More electives as you grow
Every camper’s schedule includes swimming. In addition, everyone gets to personalize their Tel Noar experience through LOTS of electives. Signup takes place online, before camp begins, so that parents and campers can make choices together.
Grades 3-6 get:
- THREE electives per session (each 3x/week)
Grades 7-8 get:
- FOUR electives per session (each 3x/week)
Grades 9-10 get:
- SIX electives per session (each 3x/week)
My daughter learned to waterski and sail this summer! These are skills she can’t get at home – and one of the reasons we send her to camp! We also are very impressed with the counselors. Their counselors have a love and passion for camp that is very evident. They were very caring, responsible and warm!
