The Day Experience

9:30am Sunday Your family arrives for a warm Tevya welcome and a taste of camp life.
Morning

Your Future Camper child joins a small group with Tevya staff and current campers. Together they head off for activities and a tour.

Parents tour Tevya and meet the leadership team. Then join us for snacks and a Q+A where you can get to know Director Lauren Fishman and Assistant Director Elissa Edwards along with the Camper Care Staff. Get all your questions answered!

Lunch

All the Future Campers rejoin parents for a BBQ lunch. Daytime campers will depart with their parents after lunch.

Does your child want to stay overnight after all?
That might be possible!
See FAQ below.

The Sleepover Experience

Morning + Lunch

Same as above.

Afternoon

Future Campers staying overnight meet their Camp Buddy and join a bunk for activities, electives, and special moments designed just for them.

Dinner + Evening

After an exciting day, your child relishes dinner, an evening program, camp traditions, and an overnight in a bunk with their Camp Buddy just like current campers!

9:30am Monday

Pick-up your child after breakfast, full of stories and memories to share.

A culture of

Spirited Belonging

Why do 95% of Tevya campers return year after year?

Camp Tevya bursts with energy. By the shores of our beloved Lake Potanipo, we care big, sing loud, and put our whole selves into every day. Most of all, we forge “forever friendships” and grow into our best selves. Your counselors care, befriend, coach, and serve as role models. Jewish life and camp traditions make every day a story to share. You grow into the person you want to become: confident, independent, and full of fun experiences that sustain you all year.

You could choose from lots of camps. Tevya is where you truly BELONG.

FAQ

Yes, absolutely! Please select that option when you RSVP.

You may want to pack an overnight bag and sleeping bag just in case they are having so much fun that they would like to stay over. Space permitting, they are welcome to do so!

It’s OK for your camper to change plans!
If you are trying to decide between the day-only and overnight options, please give us a call to talk over any questions you may have.

Space permitting, campers may decide to stay overnight if they had only signed up for the day program. (We suggest you drop off an overnight bag with them “just in case.”)

Does your child need transportation back from camp on Monday? We understand that juggling schedules can be challenging, and we want to help. Please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate and make some arrangements for you.
